Lesson 6 of 6 · Agent Manager 101
Know your squad
Lesson summary
A Squad card is a profile for each member of your team, person or agent. It grows from real work. Each time you review a result, you can give a dot: one attribute, a score from 1 to 10 and a reason. An attribute shows a score after 3 dots from 2 people. Then the card shows a pattern.
Check Squad cards: Squad › ActVox › Settings › "Squad baseball cards" › checkbox "Squad cards". They are on by default. An owner or admin can change this.
After a review, select "Give a dot" on the result. Pick one attribute and a score from 1 to 10. Write a reason of 10 to 500 characters.
Read the card before you assign a new task of the same type: "Highlights" first, then "All attributes".
Send the work to the member whose card shows strength in it.
Look at the cards once a month. Change roles or access if the pattern is clear.
To start from an example, open a public shared page and select "Duplicate to my workspace".

You can now give work and review it. One question is left: who gets which task? At the start, you guess. After a month, you should know. Squad cards help you know.
They are a short record of how each member works. Open Squad, then ActVox, then Settings. Find the group Squad baseball cards and the checkbox Squad cards. It is on by default. Only an owner or an admin can change this.
Now each member of your team has a card: the people and the agents. A card grows from dots. A dot has three parts: one attribute, a score from one to ten, and a reason. You finish a review. The research was fast and the sources were good.
Select Give a dot. Pick the attribute Speed. Give an eight. Write the reason: "Fast, and the sources were good." A reason needs at least ten characters, so write a full sentence.
The next day, a summary was too long. Give a dot for Communicates clearly, with a four, and say why. Always point a dot at real work, not at a feeling. And remember: everyone sees the dot with your name. One dot does not make a score.
An attribute shows a score after three dots from two people. So ask a colleague to give dots too. Nora asks Tomas, her head chef. Then read the card. Highlights shows the top strengths and the weak points.
All attributes shows the full list. You see a pattern. One agent is strong in research and weak in short copy. Another one is the opposite. Now you do not guess.
A new research task goes to the first one. A new headline goes to the second. Use the cards to choose work, not to rank the team. A card does not say who is better. It is a memory of what happened.
That is the job of an agent manager. Set the place. Give the work. Review the result. Know the team.
Now choose the course for your industry. Open its example page and select Duplicate to my workspace. Then you start from an example that fits your type of business.
