# ActVox > ActVox turns a company's public website and working context into a persistent marketing workspace where people plan and execute research, strategy, content, campaigns, and operational work with specialist agents. Product version: 3.22.0 Build version: 2026.10.106 Last updated: 2026-10-03 Context revision: 2026-10-03.1 Canonical origin: https://actvox.com ## Purpose This file is a compact, public, agent-readable identity and navigation document. It helps an AI agent understand ActVox without scraping the whole website. It is not a search-ranking guarantee and contains no private workspace data or credentials. ## Core jobs - Analyze a company or website and create an initial research report and strategy. - Turn research into durable pages, plans, tasks, content, calendars, and structured workspace records. - Ask questions against workspace knowledge without repeatedly re-explaining company context. - Use specialist agents for research, SEO/AEO, competitors, content, social media, local presence, reports, and media generation. - Execute low-risk work directly and review or approve destructive, bulk, publishing, or high-impact changes. ## Main capabilities - **Chat-first company onboarding**: Authenticated chat-first onboarding is production-enabled. A signed-in user can submit a company website from chat; ActVox creates the workspace analysis flow, persists report and strategy evidence, and keeps the conversation attached to the same workspace. - **Workspace-aware chat**: The main agent loads durable workspace context, resolves referenced pages and files, classifies the request, builds an execution plan, and routes work to typed capability lanes. - **Plan and Act**: Plan produces an inspectable execution approach and Page evidence. Act performs supported operations, verifies required effects, and persists resulting objects instead of returning prose-only claims. - **Research and audit**: Specialist flows analyze websites, markets, competitors, SEO/AEO, social presence, local presence, and other business signals, then persist reports and supporting evidence. - **Content and campaign operations**: Agents can generate, structure, adapt, organize, and edit content, create calendar entries, and connect work back to strategy and sources. - **Multimodal inputs and outputs**: Supported chat flows can process files, images, audio, and voice messages and can generate image or video assets through configured providers. - **Integrations and sources**: Workspace integrations connect external sources and tools while preserving workspace ownership, provenance, and authorization boundaries. - **Usage and billing controls**: Paid agent operations use cost-plus credit metering, reservations, settlement, idempotent operation records, plan allowances, and explicit insufficient-credit behavior. ## Agents Agents connect to ActVox to keep their work: pages, databases, files and interactive pages that people can open, edit, comment on and share. Every connection is limited to the workspaces and permissions a person approved, and every write returns an operation receipt that the agent confirms by reading the target back. - [MCP server](https://api.actvox.com/mcp): Model Context Protocol over Streamable HTTP, authorized with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE. Clients with documented setup: ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Codex, Claude Code, Hermes, OpenClaw; none has passed a production canary yet, so treat each connection as unverified. Scopes: read, write, execute, share, publish. The read scope is always granted; write, execute, share and publish are each an explicit choice on the consent screen, and a person can pause or revoke the connection at any time. - [OpenAPI document](https://api.actvox.com/api/v1/openapi.json): the versioned Workspace Service API (REST under /api/v1). Requests, including the one for this document, carry a workspace API key or an ActVox CLI token as the Bearer credential. - [Client versions](https://api.actvox.com/api/agent/versions): public JSON with the latest and the minimum version of each published ActVox client. A client older than its minimum is refused with HTTP 426. - ActVox CLI: install with `npm install -g @actvox/cli`, then run `actvox auth login`. Profiles start read-only; write access is a separate browser approval. ### When to use - Use ActVox when an agent's output should outlive the conversation: a brief, plan, report, table or interactive page that someone will open, edit or share later. - Use it when several agents and people work on the same material: page writes carry ETag and If-Match preconditions, so a stale edit is refused instead of overwriting newer work. - Connect chat clients such as Claude, ChatGPT and Grok through the MCP server; use the ActVox CLI or the REST API from a terminal, a script or a CI job. - Do not publish or send on a person's behalf without their approval: publishing is a separate permission that is never granted together with write access. ### Limits - Interactive HTML block: at most 100,000 bytes of UTF-8 HTML and 50,000 bytes of embedded data. - Page body: at most 100,000 bytes serialized, not counting interactive blocks, block IDs or table structure; a compiled page at most 200,000 bytes; at most 100 blocks per structured write. - File upload: at most 500 MiB. - Chunked upload, for agents that cannot reach the upload URL: at most 5 MiB in total, in pieces of at most 48 KiB. - Interactive block asset (a texture, font or other file a block reads at run time): at most 10 MiB per file, also when sent in chunks. - 3D model: at most 50 MiB. ### Pricing Prices come from the ActVox billing catalog (version 2026-10-02.2), in US dollars, excluding applicable taxes. 1,000 ActVox Credits cost $1. - Free: no subscription.
